They forced me to work a ton of over time this week at work, I didn’t have any time to spend with the cars or the garage:(

So on sat eve and Sunday I worked on the SS's bottom side. I had done it before but I got caught in the rain twice this year already... Also I didn’t tell any of you all yet but I have some new wheels on there way for the SS that should be here Wednesday.

So I thought I would go to town on the undercarriage. I didn’t dress any off the undercoating just cleaned it so some of it is a little brown, but it is clean.. Just me, a brush, simple green, a few old rags and a little Johnny Cougar on the stereo

That looks wonderful, just too bad not many will see it. I'm sure it will give you some peace of mind, I applaud your effort. :bow

I clean my wheel wells, and for now, that is as far as I'm prepared to go. I did look underneath her:eek: once and there were tons of mud water spots everywhere.

justin man, u cant be takin ur C32 offroading :p . Either this friday or next friday I am taking the IS300 on the lift and doing a simple green underbody wash, then off to the pressure washer downstairs :xyxthumbs .

Pats & RedCar - Nice to see "all around" clean cars. Not just the top outside shell that 99% of people have (I am one of the 99%, I don't have a garage nor good lighting to get under there).

Really nice under there. :up

Both those cars look great. I plan to give my Cobra the same treatment as soon as I get my beater wagon and can retire it from the daily grind! Nice rides!!!:up

I just use my brothers bike (I need to bargain with him to get my hands on it) or the public transportation. My family always reminds me how much I am spending on the car and how little I use it. I always think of it and think how stupid I seem for not using the car I am paying through the nose for. I get a good chuckle out of it.

I am just waiting for the car to get somewhat "old" so when people ask me how much mileage I have on the car I ca tell them and get an "oh, thats all?" and then I'd feel more comfortable driving it.

I tried to do the same thing to my Corvette two weeks ago...I had it up on ramps to thoroughly clean the undercarriage and wheel wells. As soon as I got under the car I realized that there was no way I'd be able to do a satisfactory job without removing the wheels and putting the car on jack stands or a lift. However, I just don't have the room in my garage to pull the wheels off, and I sure don't feel comfortable tackling such a job in the driveway, so for now, I'll be content with cleaning the wheelwells as best I can.

Congrats to you, though...your undercarriage looks great. Now, if you have the same kind of luck that I do, you'll get caught in a rainstorm the first time you have the car out! ;)
