The husband didn't know I was coming to the house and had the car washed. The paint still feels very slick.

:xyxthumbs I like the hood shot on the Jag.

That unit on the wall in the garage with the Vette is sweet! Perfect for year round detailing.

Did you use full strength Castrol APC on the wheels? I'm a big fan of that stuff.

Thanks!

In march they wanted to turn it on for me, but the weather was warm enough so I declined.

Almost full strength. I like it too but I think it gets my hands pretty dry. Last time I went to wal mart I was getting a gallon but the cashier couldn't ring it up. It is supposed to be on recall. I did convince her to sell me 3 gallons of it though. ( the manager helped her to "force" the sale in.)

The Jag looks beautiful, Dude:xyxthumbs

The more I use the HY Temp wax, the less

I miss #16.

why is it on recall? i just bought 3 gallons of the stuff :)

I was over the border a couple weeks ago in Niagara Falls NY. I looked for the gallon jugs of Castrol Super Clean at Walmart. They didn't have any Castrol at all in any size. I asked the guy stocking the shelves about it and he said it was pulled from NY. Something about it being too strong and a health hazard. Maybe a VOC thing?

well dang I am glad I bought a bunch. I did a google and found that an aerosol version of it had been recalled due to the cans having potential to leak. However when i went to castrol's site, i did a search for "super clean" and the links were broken :nixweiss

Actually, I'm still going through whats left of my

sample can. :D I use the Polishin' Pal with a black

finish pad. Stuff goes on like butter, and comes of

just about as easy.

What is a Polishin' Pal? I used a MF applicator and hated it.

Lookin good. Have you permanently made the switch to FK1 in other areas than sealants/waxes?

Thanks Sean - No I haven't and most likely never will. I have tons of PB/3M/Menzerna etc to use and especially in the summer, what can compare to PB?

BTW, I have some of their Glazes, and a huge bottle of swirl remover that I still need to try. Their #215 (like an AIO) is a very nice product & very easy to use. Definately a must have product.

Funny, I started out with foam pads, but could

not get good control with them. I then went to

MF and terry applicators. I got better control,

but sometimes I ended up with minor scrathing

in the paint. And sometimes (depending on the

product, I would not always get the most even

application. I tend to have this problem with

EX, EXP, and CMW for some odd reason.

Oh, this is the Polishin' Pal:

So far, it's worked pretty well for me. I can apply wax

and sealant very evenly now, and I can also apply even

pressure when using glazes or polishes when needed.

Going to try this with the EX, EXP and CMW, and see

if my application of these products improve. I really

like these products, and I hate the idea of them just

sitting on the shelf cause I can't get them to spread

well.
