I thought I solved this problem?

Ok guys, I'll keep it brief...

In a body shop, sanding fresh clear with 2k to 2500 grit.

I originally had a problem where my sandscratches were dying back on me after the first step. (Or so i think the problem is)

Here are the materials I have

m105

m205

Meguiar Maroon Wool

Orange LC foam

White LC foam

My procedure-

Meguiars wool-m105

Orange LC-m205

White LC-M205

Where is my problem coming from? After I polish with the wool and let the surface dry out, the sandscratches come back faintly.. Is the maroon wool not coarse enough, is my buffer speed to low?

Any input would help, thanks guys!!

With M105 and the wool, try a slightly different technique.

Make sure the pad is covered with enough product (fresh, clean product).

Polish at 1200-1400 rpm using moderate pressure until the product flashes out.

Mist the panel with water, then continue polishing like you have, using slower speeds with pressure.

This will help utilize the abrasives in M105 for cutting out deeper marks (such as sanding scratches).

when you say flash out, you mean until I cannot see the product anymore right? (m105)

And thanks for the tip, will update when I do another session!
