I think I met the world's most stuck-up, condesending, snotty woman ever

I have a customer who lives in some ritzy condos near downtown Dallas (Blackburn/Central area for Dallas people) and he wanted me to come out and wash his AMG SL55 and BMW X5is while he was out of town. No problem, I have the gate code and his garage code so he doesn't need to be there for me to work. Anyway, I had already washed the SL and was about half done with the X5 when his next door neighbor calls down from her balcony "why are you doing that there?" I told her that was where I was told to wash his cars and that I wasn't blocking her driveway (no blocking driveways is posted there). She said that wasn't the problem, it was that she didn't like looking out her window and seeing me "do that kind of work". Huh? I told her I wasn't breaking any rules and didn't have anywhere else to do the work. She points at the visitor parking about 20 feet away and said I should work there. I told her I wasn't blocking off visitor parking that other people might need just so she doesn't have to see me work. I then turned my back on her and finished washing the X5, while she sighed loudly and slammed her balcony door as she went back inside.

What a >insert colorful euphemism for a female dog<!!!

Anyway, I sent an e-mail to my customer to let him know what happened, and this is what he wrote back:

Scott, not to worry. The lady has serious problems. I cant even tell you how bad she is. She is rude, inconsiderate, etc…. thanks for getting them done today. feel free to say what you like to her next time. Let me know what address on where to send a check. Carl

Niiiiiiiiiiiice! Sounds like a real winner... I would have told her I dont appreciate snotty old ladies bothering me because theyre lonely. LMAO

I would have walked over to her house...scrubbed my mitt in the dirt and proceed to give her a free car wash for the inconvenience you were. :)

Scott,

That woman was clearly acting in a manner beyond what would even be considered ridiculous. You handled it well and did the right thing by basically ignoring her.

Snobby people are the worst EVER! I hate dealing with people that think their dookie doesn't stink.

What you just described sounds EXACTLY like the women in the movie "Over The Hedge" LOL

Well sounds like you got carte blanche for next time right? How about something like you are very sorry but you just got out of prison for murdering an old lady and can't find any other work.... or something about a message from a UFO to clean a these cars....

The only way to deal with crazy is by being more crazy :D

I give you credit Scott..you handled it very professional and did not lose your cool....A snob can be very irritable and get under your skin fast....

Thats a miserable old Cee yoU Next Tuesday!

Scottwax, what she really wanted was you to come up to her crib and give her a quick detailing!

Always keep your cool when it has to do with MONEY or your business reputation, good call!

*sshole, I just spite Diet Dr. Cherry Vanilla Pepper all over my brank new keyboard.:thx

I hope it was worth it. :D If it wasn't wait till he meets her (my ex wife's) mother. Student was not even a pale shade of the master.

Scott,

I'd actually look forward to going back there knowing what you know now. Think how much fun you can have with her, how much aggrevation you can cause her, how any knots you can put in her undies the next time you head over there.

Every future conversation with the old gal can be nice, polite, quiet and accompanied by a charming smile, but you now have the ability to wind her up like a spinning top.

So when are you heading back? We all want to hear the next installment in this story, and I'd pay money to hear the next chapter. :)
