I tested Blackfire

I have used Meguires cleaner wax, Blue Coral and Zymol over the years. Whatever I could get at the store, after all I'm just harry homeowner/detailer.Then I discovered this board, and properautocare.com. I have a black 1999 conversion van and wanted to try something new. Paint in very good condition. CMA recommended Blackfire Polish and Blackfire All Paint Protection. I washed the van, applied BF Polish, then applied the All Paint Protection, let sit for 2 hours and buffed off. Iam very pleased with the results. The van looks awesome. No doubt much better than the off the shelf stuff. two thumbs up! Iam pooped.

Glad you liked it ! It is absolutely awesome on black, dark blues, and reds.....Go play some more....Did you get any smearing after using the polish ?

Blackfire is a great product. I waxed my 2002 Dolphin grey Audi A4 1.8T with the all paint protection today and it came out great. Very reflective and smooth as glass.

I did my 2003 VW Reflex silver GTI....and it came out great, but since its silver, you coudn't really pick up on a difference because of the light color. But a darker color like grey, you saw the difference immediately :xyxthumbs

I have to tell ya, if I was stranded, with one product line, it would be the BF twins...

Recently I’ve been playing with Blackfire2 and Platinum as an alternative to Zaino. Both give a nice appearance, but on my Jet Black paint the oily residue from BF2 is very visible and smudges easily. A wipedown with QD will get rid of the oils, but then some of the shine and a lot of the depth is lost. Platinum is close to Zaino in sparkle, and clearly the winner in depth over Zaino. YMMV!
