Take a look at these....Believe it or not, i did a quick wash on my car last night, and this morning, it looks absolutely terrible. I have waxed this about 2 months ago, but it has gotten worse. What do i do????

Please click the links to see pics. I was quoted 75-85 dollars to buff the entire outside of the car. Think it will work?

Those links don't work for me.

Edit: Ok, I found a way to get to them. Don't panic, looks like you missed some spots when you washed. As far as the swirls, they are going to need some work. You can read up here for some tips, or go for the buffing job you were quoted; whichever way, they should be able to be improved, although perhaps not eliminated.

85 to buff that is not a bad deal. Be sure to ask if you can see some of their other work (pictures).

That is the route I would go if I was in your shoes. If money isnt too tight and you want to do it yourself then I would suggest reading around here such a good place to start is the E-book DavidB has.

Hope this helps a little.

I believe Louisiana Jeeper is in Louisiana.

This guy looks to be in Missouri by his user profile.

You have to get them to clarify what they consider "buff" to mean. Alot of hackers will just used something to cover up that mess.

$85 to do a 2 step polish job( thats what that car will need) is very good though.

from the pictures, it looks like your car needs a good polishing before being waxed. you should read this article before you do anything: http://autopia.org/kb/index.php?page=index_v2&id=32&c=16

this might help decide whether you want to try it yourself or pay someone else to do it. if you decide to pay someone else, that article might also be helpful in determining if the person doing it is going to do a good job. another option is to see if there are any autopians living near you that might be willing to help you out.

that looks like a nice SpecV you have. properly polished and wax will make it look awesome! :xyxthumbs

good luck.

btw, if you do decide to do this yourself, you should also read the other articles in the 'learn' button section to learn a good method of taking care of your car.
