Wow. All I can say is thanks to Frank. (F-355) I never thought I would actually have a chunk of Zymol Vintage in my hands. I can't wait to test it out and see what the hype was about. I'm going to put it on my wife's car on Wednesday (weather permitting) and we'll see how it works. Thanks again Frank. I definatly owe you one. I look forward to the day when I can repay the favor. :xyxthumbs

LOL I guess it sort of does. I guess this just goes to prove that one man's yack is another man's $1400 dollar wax. lol :p I need to transfer some of my PPG from one jar into the other so this lump has a home to call its own. Right now it is calling my butter drawer in the fridge its home. lol

Its on sale right now for $1402 Of course, that includes lifetime refills. Not a bad deal if you look at it that way. We'll see how it compares to P21S soon.

There is a person on the Lincoln Mark VII message board giving away samples, because he gets refills. There seemed to be aleast fifty people asking.

J/K he wants $75 for S/H and he received a flaming.

LOL, must make for a great conversation piece when you have friends over. Open up the butter tray, point to it, and say "That's worth $1400."

You could also just open up the bag and charge people $1 a sniff and poke. :D

EDIT: Hey Jngr, what does it smell like anyway?

It doesn't smell as good as Souveran, that's for sure. It smells more like P21S. Pretty ordorless actually. I was hoping for it to smell good. I guess for 1400 bucks they couldn't afford a little bannana and coconut oil, eh? :p

Hey Jngr:

What is it that makes it expensive....does someone have to go into the Brazilian Amazon Jungle in order to extract the ingredients to make it????

Yeah Jngr for $1400 I was hoping that you'd get a buzz off of it or be able to smoke it or something. ;)

For that price, it should apply and buff itself.

It would be nice, but I dont know if I would trust the quality of a "magical" application and buff. It seems it would work to fast, or miss spots.. and I guarantee those wizards arent using MF's.

Will it QD when finished?

Sorry for the corny jokes, I couldnt resist:bounce

edit: woo hoo, 600 posts :D :D

You get free refills on the jar for life. You just send the empty container back to Zymol and they send you back a new one full. Its the case that is worth 1400 bucks. The wax is probably el cheapo stuff. We'll soon find out.

Well let's see:

Klasse 16 oz. ~ 20 bucks.....1 oz per application....2 applications per year......8 years

$20/8years......~$160/64 years - plenty of detailing years

Same with SG - ~$20 - say 4 layers (4 oz.) every 6 months....2 years

$20/2 years....~$640/64 years - again, plenty of years....

TOTAL: 64 years (average) worth of Klasse......$800

Now how is Zymol Vintage a bargain my man??? Just my $.02

LOL........:xyxthumbs :bow :wavey :D :p
