I need to know every thing Help!

Hi, i was thinking about starting a mobile detailing company. I have a lot of questions if you can only answers a few thats more then fine. I need to know every thing. help!

1. what type of permits and licensing is needed in the state of florida. (see attorney)

2. what insurance do i need? (see attorney)

3. what is you most effective advertising methods? (your work, word of mouth, business cards)

4. soft ware for printing receipts and customers using credit cards (no idea, maybe staples)

5. what order do you do things in? from wash to dry off and interior? (I have found it better to work from inside out)

6. what products or services do you up sell on? (clay, paint correction,sealants)

7. what are the best tools to have? (whatever works best for you)

8. what are the best soaps and waxes? (all opinion, I use several different kinds)

9. what types of towels, brushes and mitts do you use? (several different kinds)

10. what places do you target? (places that need to be targeted. I spend most of my time behind the wheel as do customers :))

11. how do you mange your employees? (keep a bat near by :))

12. how do you like your set up? what would you change? ( I would like to have a 3000 SQ. FT. garage)

13. how do you keep customers coming back? (do a good job, and letting them know the importance of maintenance)

14. what sets you apart from other detailing businesses? (The level of experience, Knowledge, and hard work.)

15. what don’t you like to do? (engines)

16. how do you mange your time? (by charging appropriately) :)

17. what pays more doing a lot of cars for low prices or just a few at high prices? (prob the same, volume is always good though)

18. do you have a web site? (no, but some do)

19. how do you book appointments? with a pen and schedule)

20. do you ever run specials or discounts? (only if they bring me a customer) :)

If you're having to ask what order to do things in then you definitely don't have the experience yet to even think about starting a company. Keep it simple. I know you probably want to go at it full steam ahead but you'll find yourself overwhelmed and broke in 2 months time.
 
Hehehe...when I was 21 I wanted to start a used car lot.

I did some RESEARCH on the INTERNET.

I learned that it was going to take a lot of knowledge, a lot of experience, quite a bit of money, and the willingness to SCREW UP A LOT before I got it right.

Ten years later, I'm sitting here four months away from an Associate's degree or three in various business-related fields (Arts, Management, Marketing) and I have the go-ahead from the wifey to get it together. And I have a BUSINESS PLAN. Go Google that and see what you come up with. Oh, by the way, in order to have a solid business plan, you need to figure this stuff out on your own. If someone gives you all the answers, it's THEIR business plan, not yours.
