ok i just recently purchase a vehicle and well all i can say is it was a $5 car wash type vehicle but i got it at a good price and new i could fix it. ok so its got major swirls on i tried to take a pic but the pic doesn't do it justice. I plan on using my pc with the ccs yellow pad and ssr2. will this be enough cause this is the toughest combo i have. I may use my rotary with a cutting pad and ssr2 to start ( im just not that great with the rotary). do you think this will be enough?

When you say the pics don't do it justice, does that mean its better then it looks or worst?

For me it doesn't appear to be to bad, and I would think a rotary with a yellow cutting pad, even with an experienced rotary user might make it worst. If you are going to use a rotary I would start with the white pad and go from there. With the PC I would start with a Orange polishing pad.

Again, thats me, others might say differently...but I am going ny these pics.

try some SSR 2.5/2 (if thats what you got) with an orange cutting pad. from the pics there doesn't seem to be any scratches so that is a big plus and swirls are stubborn but come out.

You will need to use the ssr2.5 with an orange pad working each section with proper pressure and slow passes. Try that first, if that isn't doing it then switch to the rotary with light pressure using ssr2.5 or ssr2 with wool pad then follow up with D/A and ssr2.5/orange pad. Just don't grind with the rotary, spread the ssr2.5 and work it at about 1200 rpm with slow even passes. Make sure you clean the pad often.

One more very important step...........

POST PICS! :D
