I need help, a body shop ruined my paint (06 Civic)

Well it all ended up working out pretty good I guess. I took it back and he got most of the hazing out with the buffer, but there was still a little left. I busted out some #83 and some elbow grease and got the rest out. Then busted on a full wash/clay/wax, looks perfect now.

I'm in the North Dallas area, and I would love for you to PM me the name of the shop that did this.

Just so I don't take my Civic there.

I'm glad you got it out.

Well, I thought it was fixed more than it really was apparently. After the 2nd wash/clay/wax yesterday for the Spring I noticed it even more than ever. Also, it is dusty as hell here and my car stays clean for about 20 minutes from when I finish it which really pisses me off.

I've also made quite a few swirls and microscratches over the last few months and I'm thinking I'll just get a really good detail for the whole exterior, wheel wells and rims and all that stuff. I've been keyed along the whole passenger side, and I have about 5-6 inch long nicks all around the car from rocks and stuff.

The hazing is very obvious in the sunlight when I walk up to my car, but I'm never going back to that place if the can't even get it right the second time. Also, there's still polish residue in and around my door handle that just won't come off no matter what I try (caked on white powder is what it looks like).

They key mark along the passenger side catches on my fingernail on about 50% of it, so I'm guessing I'll have to get the whole side of the car repainted pretty much, and I just need to find a good place with the right honda paint to do this for me.

Anyone have any ideas on the order I should get this work done in or any references in the Dallas area? Thanks.

Man if I lived near autopians like scottwax I'd never wash my own car, these guys are so awesome and support all of us here with our dumb questions..withouta doubt I would contact someone local by posting in the local forum section for your locale on the main page.
