I ♥ Mothers FX tire shine

Dry is a relative term. This dries similar to regular AA. Put on 12 layers and it's a greasy mess. One layer is not greasy.

Yeah, I didn't think TW ever really dried.

As a follow-up, one full week and still looks like the day i put it on. That's with no rain and cold temps (25-50*)

I just picked up a couple bottles to try based on these good recommendations.

I am replacing my Meguire's and Armor All Gels that I have used for a long time with good results...as long as I was careful with my application to avoid sling.

Is a foam applicator still the preferred method with the FX? Spray the applicator and wipe on the tire? I let the gels dry as much as possible and then wipe once with a rag or paper towel to knock it down and make sure I won't get any sling-- same idea with the FX or not necessary?

Thanks-- anxious to try it!

The big difference between the Gel's you've been using and FX is you are going to have to have faith in FX. The Gels, what you see is what you get, you have to get the application just right. With FX, do a pass or two and just leave it alone. It does its magic in about 30 minutes, gradually increasing shine while evening out. There really is no need to spend more than 20 seconds per tire with the stuff, apply a nice thin coat and walk away.
