I melted and re-poured my Natty's!

Due to initial shipping, humidity (my guess), and me jostling the contents in order to decant a few ounces for my experiments, my Natty's was looking a bit nappy. It had become too grainy for use.

Here's what it looked like after scooping it out and putting it in a jar.

Here, it's beginning to melt.

Melted. Look at that color!

Poured back into (cleaned) container.

It started hardening in 5 minutes.

After about 40 minutes, it was hardened and looked great!

Days later, it has a white film on top, and looks brand new. It is slightly separated from the sides of the container, again, just like new. It melts into the applicator just perfectly.

I also did a little panel pot of DoDo Blue Velvet that had gotten all busted up. Worked perfectly!

Disclaimer:
Do not infer from the photos how to properly or safely melt wax. Use of a "real" double boiler is recommended.

I did the same thing last year with the blue.
It worked well. I made it all mushy.
Now I keep it stored in my garage fridge in the summer.

I did the same for a few waxes that had gotten all "clumpy" like that ... a side benefit is that it has an "air freshener" effect while your doing it. :P
