I may have to stop using Final Polish

Stuff beads way too long!

A Tahoe I used it on in mid April is still beading so I cannot convice the owner that I should wax his truck again. He is the type who waits until water pools on the paint.

Another Tahoe I used FP on in early June is still beading like mad and still feels slick.

I continue to be very impressed with FP, but when it lasts long enough that I don't wax as often....;)

Anyway, I do offer it as a higher cost option because it does protect for a long time so I guess I come out even over the course of a year.

Winner's Choice Finishing Creme is also doing well, although I haven't had it as long as FP, but it looks promising and it gives me a non abrasive/cleaning polymer option.

Anyone else have a good polymer system they use and offer as an upgrade from your regular wax packages?

Hey Scott, have you been able to try out the Foam Applicator?

Yes and it works great....feels a little awkward though since I am used to normal foam hand pads. Great coverage since the pad has a larger surface area.

BTW, Vanilla Moose and WC Finishing Creme is a very nice combination! I used it on a black Escalade this week, I'll post pics when the roll is finished. :xyxthumbs

Is this the same stuff that detailking (www.detailking.com) sells under their own name?

Sure do have a lot of similar products and the labels are very similar too. Names are slightly different, but descriptions are close.

hey scott, do you use the long lasting or the regular final polish. How is the application and removal like s100 or like menzerna?? And finally do you have to let the FP set like klasse or is it more of a wipe on wipe off product??

Thanks for the info

I've just used the regular version (6 month durability). It is very easy to use. Just apply it to the whole car, then go back around and buff off the excess. No need to let it sit for a long time before wiping off.

I use it for a one step sealant option and Winner's Choice Finishing Creme for a two step sealant option (since it has no polishing properties).

Have you used their polishes and glazes? If so, what do you think about them.

You mean Car Polishes? No, I've just used their Final Polish. I use Meguiars Body Shop Pro line to level paint, Clearkote's Vanilla Moose as my final glaze and top with either S100 or Carnauba Moose.
