I made some 4'' SurBuf Pads...

And good lawd do they work FAST!!!

Only issue thus far is chamfering the edges correctly...

I think my best bet at this point will be to make the pad 4.5''-5'', and when used with a 4'' backing plate, it will help convex the pad enough to keep the rough edges away from the paint.

Any thoughts?

I don't know if you have a bunch of larger sized pads already, but if you don't... Surbuf sells them in the 4" size. :D

If we do things the easy way like just ordering the 4" pads, then this thread wouldn't be here. Then if threads like this aren't here, there would be no web site, and in turn, no reason for the internet at all. So what you're really saying is you're trying to bring down the internet. Is that what you're saying Kevin? Hmmmm?

Kevin Brown is against the internet!

Sadly, shades of political campaign logic. So, you and Kevin are running for office against each other? Grand Puba of Shinedom? Hmmm, tough vote.... The mud-slinging might stick for a while but I'm sure M105 will take care of it :D

Sadly, my assteamed colleague from Texas has decided to sling mud at me unprovoked. While I don't mind a bit of dirt recklessly strewn upon me (I know how to clean it after all), this site is just too professional for such hullyballoo.

Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that I must recommend a ten thousand day ban of the gentlewoman from Texas.

I saw enough of your defense at SEMA last year. This year, please don't try to pick the lock on my room again :D

Now we see how the gentlewoman from Texas distorts the truth... our site is just too good for this.
Look how fast she has traveled down the rickety road of lies, misconceptions, and half-truths.
Golly, I am at a loss for words.

Therefore, I must remove myself from this bantering about of nonsense.
I shall rely upon what is left of the gentlewoman's honor to do the same.

Sniff.... Sniff...

Originally I was going to let this thread carry on for about 2 weeks and 'pretend not to see' it in order to drive traffic to this site. Then I was going to break out the ban stick and protect all of the innocent computer monitors from displaying such vile flith...

I smell a 14 minute time out coming for you two children if you don't knock this off right now!

Mmmmk, thanks, signed

Has anybody tried these surbuf pads with the original UDM by any chance? (Are those still working?)
