I Love FMJ

High Gloss Acrylic Shield....good stuff

It looks like this stuff can be used on top of any polymer. Anyone try on top of UPP? How is durability of HGAS? I got a special deal on HGAS - 32 oz for $20 - and am interested in using over UPP on my blue pearl civic. I'm betting it's gonna look sweet...

The product page for the new Blackfire sealant says...

"Equal if not better depth and wetness of Menzerna's FMJ for 38% less money "

Be interested in hearing if this statement is even close to being true (the better than claim, not the less $ claim).

I've not used either product yet, so I can't make claim to either product except that the FMJ following is pretty impressive.

I have both. At first I thought the FMJ was a lot better. But they are both about equal.

Both easy to use. With the FMJ I found the Glaze a little difficult to get off, but the instructions say after you apply the FMJ it will all come off. They were right.

I think they are both light years ahead of any OTC product sold.

I love FMJ, too! Always been a UPP, WG and EX fan, but gotta tell you, FMJ is my new fav. Exceptionally easy to apply and just as easy to remove. No residue at all, and no streaking on my dark blue auto.

Prep'd my car by ISO/h20 spray & wipe, then AIO'd x2. FMJ went on very easily in a thin coat, let it dry for about 45 minutes then wiped it off effortlessly leaving a deep glossy finish. Gonna get another coat on tonight, then a 3rd tomorrow evening. Then I'll treat occassionally with HGAS. Just hope I'm impressed with the durability as much as I am with the ease of application and the finish.

If I can get my Mom's digital camera in the next couple days I'll post some pics.
