I love clay

I have been using Bilt-Hamber's clay lately and love it...

Have you tried it yet??

No i have not, I will have to try it though. Now i have 45 bars of ricardo clay and 15 clay pads, 6 bars of megs blue, 2 bars of megs red, and 4 grey clay.. I'm not sure when i can get around to trying it.

Call me cheap, but Clay Magic from Autozone for 10 bucks is all I buy. I've tried Wolfgang and Megs - neither worked as well. I use the CM lube or DG's car wash - but like Grouse said, dry it off before kneading it is the key. I also found that if the paint is warm, it works better. In winter, I try to let the sun warm up the paint as much as possible before claying.

Do you know which brand name "Riccardo" clay is sold under in the UK? I'll be heading there over Xmas and would like to pick some up.

it's worked well for me as well. nice thing is you can find it OTC at your nearest AZ...

Is ONR not recommended for claying? Can it be used for the Clay Sponge? Interesting clay lube ideas.

Hmm, informative thread. I've got some Zaino Clay sitting at home that I have yet to try. I guess being the only clay I've ever tried, I won't have anything to compare it to, but I'll definitely check out others once I use the Z18 up.
