I just got a bunch of pakshak MF... what to use for what?

I will be using these towels to wax (apply and buff) and dry the car with but I am not sure what's the best for each job. What are your experiences with them?



wash-->clay-->#80-->#81-->reflection-->end

I tend to use the yellow Ultras for wax and polish removal. They are somewhat plusher and larger than the standard Pakshak towels and tend to have more of a bite to the finish making them great for removing product.



I love the white and blue Ultra Plush for quick detailing.

I wouldnt use a MF for applying wax. You will never gert the wax out of the towel.

I also have a Meguiar's terry cloth for applying. I was going to use it for apply & working with #80? So the rest of the small MF are ok for removing the wax and polish, just don't use it to apply right?



I don't want to ruin these MF on the first use that's why I am asking.

well the waffle should be for drying.



i then use the regular ultras for wax and polish removal. the plush side.



then the yellow ultra-fine's for a final wipe just to make sure i get everything and a final buff.



you should try the foam pads for waxing and polish. they tend to soak up less product, but they will have less "bite" for polishing.
