I hate Virginia pollen.

For about 2 weeks every April THIS is what we deal with. Somewhere, underneath that sea of powdery yellow, lies a shiny black Super Coupe!

I feel your pain! I too have a black car. -100 for the garage remarks :boot , take the car out a couple of minutes and you have a yellow coating on your shiny whatever. I have seen it so bad that white cars turn yellow.

Be happy with two weeks. I've been told it's at least two MONTHS here in Texas.

Amen to that. I wish it were only two weeks here in the AL. With all the pines we have, it's more like a two or three month ordeal it seems.

The pollen is a mess. I hate it too. Then is rains on it and it looks like you
never wash you car. I caught this kid getting ready to do the ' wash me"
thing on my truck. I said " Young man, what do you think your doing"
He was startled. That ended that.

Unfortunately the garage has a bedroom built in it, so no room for the car. It went in storage over the winter, but stays outside otherwise. We're planning on building a house with a 3 car garage back home in Indy when I retire from the navy next year!

It's polen season here too, but not quite as bad as what you have. I have a garage for overnight, but have to leave it out all day while I'm at work. I just consider myself lucky if I don't have bird droppings on the car at the end of the day.

Got the same issues, and then we have this huge helicopter tree thing in our yard where it drops its seeds which spin around and go like a helicopter so I get those all over my car...real annoying.

It was like that in Missouri when I was up there. Covered my truck the same day I washed it. My allergies were horrible. I went outside for a few minutes, and could not stop sneezing until I went inside and put a steming wash cloth on my face. Then the eyes would swell up and get all red. I call it "Death by Yellow" LOL Wish there was a darn OTC medicine that would work for me.

I don't think it is that long. Matter of fact, I have been here for almost 5 years, and cannot remember my vehicles getting covered in pollen. Though, I live 3 hours away from you....could be different down there in Houston......

Wow I always hear ppl complain about pollen but never knew it was that bad. We don't get the pollen problem like that in MN.
