I Hate This Snow!

Here's the situation. I live in NY and its snowing like crazy. I just de-swirled my Impala, and coated it with P21s. Shortly after, it snows of course. Today it took my 2 hours to get the snow off using my air compressor to blow it off the vehicle. I don't want to you a brush for obvious reasons. Futhermore its like 20 degrees here.

1. How do I get the snow off quickly and effectively without scratching the paint.

2. How do I wash the car with it being 20 degrees out. I was thinking about trying ONR.

When it's that cold, everything will freeze directly. If I have snow on the car I usually use a brush to get most of it off, but not everything, I leave a thin layer so I don't scratch the paint.

Don't you have any places where you can wash your car indoors? Here some gas stations have that possibility, you bring your own stuff, they only have the water there.

I wouldn't even worry about. 2 hours to remove snow from a car as to not scratch it is a bit extreme. This is something that anyone with at least something to do won't be able to do everyday.

Nothing like that in my area. We do have coin opps but they are outdoors.

It's that time of the year, my brothers! Try to make the best of it, and have your vehicle prepped for full battle conditions!

just when i think it's cold here in southern california, i really can't complain seeing that many of you are getting pounded with snow...

Yeah, we probably ended up with 18" or so from this past weekend's storms. I'm not in the area affected by the power outages, but after 10 days, there are still thousands without electricity.

That does stink Tom. I was without power for 7 days last week, so I feel very bad for the people that still do not have power.

I can't image trying to endure for 10 days without heat...This latest storm has got to be a real PIA :sadpace:

We had 65 degree weather here in Jersey last Monday. I took the opportunity to do a wash and wax. Of course it rains/sleets on Wednesday and snows on Friday. Oh well!

Hell no........snow is great. This is how I spend my winter
