My girlfriend's neighbor has a very good taste in cars. :D

unless it is a white explorer it's too hard to see anything in the pictures. however, I know what you mean. I washed my truck yesterday and less than one hour later there was a layer of pollen across it.

Thanks for the sympathy Steve. I just noticed it's kinda hard to see it. Sorry. The first one is the best one I can find. You can see white dots on the hood. The reason for the dots was that we had some rain when it was parked. And since I detailed my car, the water beading was awesome and pollen just formed in clusters.

I just got a little confused for a second there, forgot which board I had logged on to. I think there is alot of people on both boards.

I hate pollen also-it is real bad when in between polishing and waxing that you have to go over the whole car with a duster to clean the damn thing!

Right! today I washed my car and when I was starting to dry there was already pollen all over it, I had to put it on the garage and finish the job.

Good to know I'm not the only one. IT SUCKS!! Even with my car cover, it gets on the cover and then I have to get it off before I remove the cover, which is almost impossible, which means undoubtably some gets rolled up in the cover.:angry I'm hoping when the leaves come out, the crap will cease.

Nice ExP!

PEACE

pollen in the bay area is normal to light, so it's bearable. However, at the self service wash station I go to there's this one stall where pigeons live. Slamming the door to keep them away works for only 10 min or so...then they perch dangerously above my car no matter what. I try to avoid that evil stall at all costs :D

Oooh, yeah...Here in the land of the long-leaf pine, the pollen is just too much. No allergies for me...Just wishing for a big rainstorm to wash it out of the trees.

Arrrgh, I had to jetspray it and QD it today. :wall

I just couldn't take it any more.

Well...they forecasted rain over the weekend but did we get any?? NO!!! Anyways...I took a couple of pics before I got it washed at a touchless carwash.

It looks very nice after the wash. But after the trip to the beach, it's got bugs all over the front now. Oh well...

that second set of pictures shows it much better. it sucks that you have to wash your car everyday to keep in looking alright this time of year.

Woohoo!!! Rain is here!!! No more pollen, for a little while anyway. That car wash was worth it. $4 at the gas station. A simple wash and since my truck was waxed, nothing stuck onto it. So after the wash, my truck looked spotless. Well...other than the liftgate, where the dirt got trapped in the water beads when driving. It looks good though. Now I'll be washing my car this weekend b/c I'll be going home. I can't wait to QD the rig!!

We had some horrific storms on Saturday, but they missed me by about 5 miles...which is good because north of me, the area substained $75-100 million in hail damage! All we got was just enough rain to pull the pollen down on my car and make it look horrible! Last night, same deal, real light rain, again just enough to coat my car with green spots!

ExplEddieBauer-my car has looked like your pics for the last two weeks now.
