I hate cleaning windows!

Thanks soo much for your help guys. I have been trying new approaches and I think it's just like anything else, I was looking for a universal product or technique that doesn't exist. All windows are not the same and there is not quick fix that will work everytime. Just persistence and effort. I was using too much product and not switching to a clean side of the towels often enough. I think I was just wanting to shave down the time it takes. BTW I have some surf city on order to try too.

Based on a recommendation here, I started using DG 105 on my windows. I follow up with IG. The polish seems to do a nice job of lifting dirt and film from the window while the IG takes the unnatural shine off the windows left by the polish. The polish makes the IG easier to move and remove with a WW.

Sounds weird but I did my house windows that way and it worked great. I used my Danase hand applicator with a 4" LCC orange pad and the 105.

I am a true believer in Sprayway, I use a ww as my cleaning towel and a decent MF to dry and buff, it never fails me, although teaching my new guy has been an adventure

Windows can be tricky. This is what I do for a detail:

Step 1:

Hit windows with PC + Green Light Polish Pad + AIO... wipe off residue

Step 2:

Hit windows with E1 20/20 and a towel dedicated to this step alone. I use a bit more 20/20 then I should, but this is to make sure all the grime is off.

Step 3: Use another completely dry towel and go over the remove the 20/20 streaks.

A variant of the last two steps (maybe use less E1 20/20 in step 2) will make 'em look for car washes :)
