I got polish on my plastic trim

Try a product called" Wax Blaster"

Wax Blaster Wax Remover

Turtle wax ICE cleaned up my trim surprisingly well (white stains from hand applied Megs CW). It doesn't have a lot of staying power but does make the trim and tires look great.

TW ICE won't do sh!t for actually removing the polish. Nothing, not IPA, not AIO, not VM or any dressing I've used actually removes the staining.

You need to use a dedicated trim cleaner. Meg's #39 was the only thing that did it for me (it didn't work on a GMC Envoy's door handle material, however), removing years of old dirt/dressing/wax/etc. I hear GR-40 from TOL is nice, too.

Thanks for the responses. I will try the rubbing alcohol then resort to a purchase if necessary.

Duragloss has a product like wax blaster..called wax eraser...it works very good....I put it on let it dwell a little and hit it with a small brush and stains are gone...I use a fingernail cleaning brush...Megs #39 works also....

If it is in the grain of the trim i use IPA and brush and then stab at the stain with my stiff detail paint brush.

Have you tried VM by machine on the trim. that works well

Prepsol is another or just polish them with a pure glaze like fireglaze plus
