I must have missed the MEMO. That said, if you were given a time out, you might want to examine the video and ask yourself if it was family friendly? Autopia insists that material be as appropriate for an 8 year old (read, family friendly) as it is for an adult.

Yeah I found the video on the interweb and I can see that getting a timeout from here. I just go with the understanding that on here they want G rated and will allow PG but if you hit PG13 you risk a reprimand. I don`t mind it, it`s their sandbox. I have plenty of places to be more adult content oriented. As GI Joe say`s:

Detailchick. I have a warped sense of humour that I suppose goes with the territory that I work in. I didn`t think it was as restrictive here as it was based on some of the other things I had seen.Really Richy YOU got banned??!!

Rick, I didn`t think it warranted a month, that`s for sure. I`ve asked whether it (the length) can be appealed. There is no way of course, to appeal it at the time, so you`re screwed that way.
Good point. Nothing I say will ever be suitable for an 8 year old. I don`t expect to see 8 year olds on this board.

Ya, my shifts have changed at work and it`s taking a toll on detailing, being online and everything.
Not true Ron. I am an admin there and I have banned people myself for hurtful comments towards other members, etc. Carlos lets me have free reign with my sense of humour. Maybe it`s a Canadian thing? We are privately owned and answer to nobody. No company, no products, just enthusiasts who have a place to voice their opinion without worrying about upsetting someone who has something financial to lose if a product is getting bashed. We appreciate and cultivate honesty. It`s refreshing.
We`re certainly not a big or busy forum by any means, but we have fun. See my comments to Ron about banning people. We still demand respect.

Glad to have you back. This topic has been represented well and pretty well run it`s course, not much more to be said. As with the forum whre you ADMIN, here too it`s typically considered poor taste to start a thread about being banned. If nothing else it has given us a chance to once again state the Family Friendly nature found here on Autopia.
