such a great car guy afternoon (literally as I got off work at 11)...anyways...
spent a little time Little River Dragway this afternoon
I don`t know if you`ve seen Street Outlaws on discovery or whatever but this track had a top 6 fastest cars running weekly contest/grudge match and you park your car in order and there are concrete buckets with post signs down the row indicating 1-6.
They can call each other out every weekend for X spot.
This is the current #1
10.5... stock with wheels/tires (skinnies/hoosiers)
(●fyi if you run sub 10 you cannot run 1/4 mile here, 8th only...its a short shutdown area...this track is grass roots esque small)
pretty cool owner, he even offered me some of the leftover ice from the bag he had on his supercharger, lol
but the car was dirty and he had bird poo on the hood
started #3 and after a wheel swap he raced and got 1st
This was the 1st time I went to thid drag strip (its 80 miles away) but I`d like to go back.

saw a 6 second (8th mile) late 60s model or so cobra ride a wheelie for about 100 ft. but the track only showed his 1/4 mile time on the board and it was 11.7@95- lol
all in all it was a great day...I accumulated 235 miles in my car from 630 am to 9pm, booked two hellcats, and saw Ron`s evil twin
So Ron...when are you getting some slicks and skinnes for the Z?
