Now if Patrick would also start selling the even *smaller* backing plate for use with LC PFW pads he'd have a complete selection for one-stop shopping. I can't remember *where* I got my little plate for those pads

Autogeek maybe? That's where I got mine

ok guys, couple real quick questions

Do i want this 3.5" Dual Action Flexible Backing Plate- porter cable 7424 or 7336 hook and loop backing plate 3.5 inch.

or this 2-3/4 Hook & Loop Backing Plate

Also, should i get the 4 inch ccs pads or the 4 inch low profile pads?

Should i get white or gray for my final polishing pad? i got a red 5.5 inch pad as my final lsp pad but i wanted to know which one will do better at getting the most gloss out of the paint and getting any final swirls from using the orange pad with an aggressive polish.

Your like an hour away. If theres any time your gonna be closer, im down. Even if its to watch a detail.

I'm not sure why you would use the adapter you have. once you get over the learning curve you'll find it's great.

I was detailing my firebird last night and needed to get in to a tight spot and all i did was pop off the old 8 inch pad and slip on the tiny 4 incher. which you need to be VERY careful with if your using a rotary...
