I can't get rid of this blemish! (picture)

I've wed sanded with 2000 grit, and then switched to Perfect-It II on a PC with orange Sonus pad. What do I do to get rid of this? More sanding? More compound? Thanks

I'm worried that the wet sanding caused the chafe marks!

If the wetsand caused it go over with a compound again for a little longer. See if it's improved. If not you might have taken too much clear and paint and went down to the primer. You will need to repaint, if so.

EDIT: Just saw you used a PC. I have never removed 2000 grit wetsand marks with a PC before. You might need a 4" yellow pad with a nice abrasive compound, then step down to an orange pad and medium compound and then a white pad and fine polish.

Good luck!

It looks like it was paint that was not flat. The sandpaper touched some points but not others. Or the buffer only polished some parts.

The car rubbed noses with another in a parking lot. The other car had white paint. I wet sanded the majority of the paint off (2000 grit), and this is what's left after compounding with P-II a couple types on PC with orange pad.
