I broke my ferrari cherry today.

Did my first ferrari today. Its a Testarossa. Not sure which year. When i backed this baby out of the garage....oh my my my...SOOO LOUD. Anyway, just enjoy the pics. I had a blast on this one. he has a bentley waiting for me too.

Come on now Paul , we'll let you go this time . I'm sure it was just an oversight do to your excitement . So lets have them.
 
I'm going to get a job driving a school bus! Apparently, the drivers make enough money to buy Ferraris & Bentelys and Escalades! :LOLOL
 
Ok, the process i used played a role in it, but another very important factor was the quality of the paint job. The paint is factory paint and there was very minimal orange peel.





I used

dewalt 847 (1200-1500 rpm range)

Nxt wash

Blue magic clay bar w/ Chemical guys extreme synthetic detailer

Chemical guys laser buff on a green edge2k

Top of the line light power cut leveler on green edge 2k

klasse SG wiped off with Z-6

then s100 w/ CG ext. syn. Detailer to help wipe off.

OH yea, to explain the school buy and escalade. The owners of the ferrari own a few Day care centers and the bus belongs to the day care center. Behind one of the day care centers is the garage which houses the ferrari. And the Owner dropped his escalade off because he need it washed.

I actually did detail the vents. They are horizontal surfaces that extend across. All i did was use some AIO, then RMG by hand with a MF applicator.
 
ahhhh Rotary.. that says it all.. damn i gotta get me one of those..

seems like those testarossa's can be 'relatively' affordable these days....they dont (for some reason) have the same persona/class/style/status, as most ferrari's do??
 
thanks for the comments guys. Ithink all ferraris are beautiful. sure, the testarossa isnt as aesthetically pleasing as maybe the new f430s but shoot, if u saw this baby in person ud cream in your pants. And once the engine turns over..Whoooaaaa weee.
