I am looking for a new tire dressing.

i love the AA tire foam (been using it for years) and it's only $2.77 a can at your local walmart..

for about a few cents cheaper, NT works pretty well too...

What's it like? TIA

Any C&B's I have posted since about August would have it on the tires.

Here is a pretty good shot though.

BTW, I cleaned two Big Lots out of it now. :bigups

I find that I have more success if I use two coats with a light wipedown between coats on any tire dressing. It is generally much easier to do with a water based dressing.

I like several of the gels (Megs Hot Shine) but if there a lot of fine grooves on the sidewall applying a gel can be a pain. The gels seem to last longer.

For water based I like Optimum Tire Shine and Poorboy's BnB.

Well I cleaned out 2 stores 4 bottles. Gonaa give it a shot. Thanks Scottwax.

I've had VERY good luck with Leprechaun Blue Dew. $20 per gallon and it works GREAT. Just spray it on and wipe it off. If you want minimal shine, wipe it off after about 10 seconds. If you want shinier, just wait about 1 minute. If you want insane level shine, apply it twice for 1 minute each time.

I never have a problem with slinging whether I am using a water based spray or a gel.

I basically do two things that probably stop slinging. I usually wipe off excess when I am finished and secondly I let the vehicle sit for a while before driving it.

I think the important thing is to wipe the tire down lightly when you are finished possibly as much as 30 minutes after applying. If you want more shine wipe it down and apply a second coat and then wipe that second coat down.

I use those disposable blue shop towels that come in a roll for the wipedown.
