I figured why not. It was raining but it parted for a bit and I needed to spend at least a little time with one of My vehicles for a change, haha.

Sorry about thw crappy videos, I`m beat from all these Mopars past, present and one more tomorrow.

You be the judge. I don`t see much of a differenence so far. I will let it get rained on then update further and test durability as well.

I gotta get back to work.

Update :

Sitting in light rain for about 30 mins..long enough for the beads to build up...

Hmm..it appears the wet coat beads, some of them already ran down the hood and the hydro2lite beads look a tad better (taller and more plump by a smidge) but the wet coat has moved more water sitting still

I`m hypothesizing wet coat may have a little higher surface tension.

I don`t see any difference either. There was a little contamination of the wet coat side by HydrO2Lite, but very little. Looking forward to seeing your followup posts. Are you thinking of checking in every couple weeks on the car?

Yea i tried to avoid that..as you can see I started on the tape line- silly me. I`m running on E right now, ha.

Videos are kind of shaky as well.

I plan to update weekly but you know how that goes. I haven`t even driven my truck in 3 or four weeks at least.

Very nice review Brandt! I`m curious as to how durable is each product.

Did you see a difference in terms of shine and slickness (did it produce any)?

I`m planning on doing the same head to head comparison review too.

Yea so far I`d say go with whichever is cheaper at the time.

from what I read they have just about the same stuff in them, perhaps at different ratios or something but I don`t see a clear winner...beading wise after sitting in the raid id givevthe edge to hydro2lite

Trunk/Hood next time

To me, it appeared to have over spray, from hydro to wet coat. More than just a little

Yea prolly a good idea.

I think when i sprayed the water right on the tape line i definitely made a mistake there...but the pictures im posting are from the sides and there was barely any wind.

I don`t think any over spray went more than a few inches from the sides of the tape line.

Either way. That`s all ya get. Lol

Title does say curiosity test afterall.

I wish you had the offering from TAC Systems to throw into the mix. I just have a feeling they either are the same or very similar. Right now I would buy the one that is the cheapest. Thanks for the side by side test.

ck your vid, just before you sprayed the gyeon. you could see the water behavior of the hydro
