Hydro Foamer in Action!!

I recall a few threads on the foam gun and I don't recall any of them having decent pictures of one in action. So I thought I'd take some pics to convince everyone to get one :woot:

(If something like this has been posted already just ignore this)

Here's my foam gun, it's mostly plastic.

It has a 96oz container and I filled it mostly up with water than added some Zymol soap (The gallons they had at Big Lots! when it was $2.99)

Here's a couple pictures of it in action.

The suds stay on there for awhile too :up :up :up

Now go out there and buy one!

I bought it online from eBay. The more heavy-duty ones made of brass like Accumulator has I think is from Automagic or Butcher's. Let me find the thread.

I pour a random amount, maybe 2-4oz, the less the soap, the less amount of time it stays on the car.

So you just wash the car in the normal fashion after that, rinsing the mitt after each panel? Do you keep spraying the foam during the wash? To rinse I would guess that you just remove the foamer from the hose and use the hose to rinse?

I keep spraying foam during the wash, I just spray the area that I wiped with the mitt and "rinse" the dirt away. It has a quick disconnect and yeah I just flood the surface.

I tried various ways with it, I couldn't keep the mitt on the end of the nozzle like Accumulator and Bill D do (I think?), it kept squirting foam everywhere.

Nope, I gave up on that technique. I do foam gun in one hand, mitt in the other.

Pics are down for me... :(

Nevermind, I right click/copy/paste-ified them and I see 'em now.

So this eliminates the soap bucket, eh?

Whoo Hoo! I always appreciate a pic of a foamgun in action :woot:

:xyxthumbs

:rofl

That's it, I'm getting one tomorrow! Too cool!!

edit: just ordered from their website. A little prciey for shipping :( but no big deal.

Yikes, you oughta just order it from Mark at Pal, you'll have a better tool I'm betting even with tax plus shipping if you don't want to go down to Piscataway and buy it in person.

Nah, don't feel like going to Piscataway. Plus, all the other foam guns seem to go for the same price.

If I paid an extra $10 or so, it ain't the end of the world. The convenience of ordering it in less than 30seconds while sitting in my underwear in front of the computer :p :xyxthumbs

I know, I know, too much information :D
