Hydro foam testing

not really a review, per se, more of a show and tell

spray bottle dilution was 1:9 with foam trigger (used on one wheel)

then I got smart and switched up to my foam gun (3 oz in the container and 20oz water- a little strong I know but I was experimenting)

on to the foam gun

tried out my synthetic sheepskin mitt 1 bucket and grit guard/washboard- works great- both of them

let it dwell for about 2 mins on the hood-- wanted to see if It would stain- it didn`t

rinsed just fine

this was done for my prep for the show that I ended up not making in time. it was getting dark so the pics are not that great but this method worked very well (out of the foam gun) and I didn`t even use half of the solution I had mixed, which means that I can wash my truck with less than 2oz of hydrofoam out of my foam gun

I really like this as a method of cleaning my wheels. I need to make some RTU dilutions for my foam gun so I can have a gallon of RTU when I am in the mood to Hydrofoam

thanks for viewing

I`ve been very tempted to pick up some HydroFoam. Seems like a real time saver. Especially for rims!!! Thanks for posting man.

yes...I use hydro2 lite first on my wheels..then when I feel like sprucing them up I use the hydrofoam (but at the dilution I was using in my foam gun I am wondering if it was stronger than hydro2lite)

its definitely worth the $15 or $24 for the litre (I have both bottles- purchased when they were on pretty crazy deals)

I love HydroFoam. It`s all you need to clean and seal wheels. One step - so EZ. I haven`t used it in a foam cannon, because I prefer a foaming sprayer on a bottle for wheels.

Everything it touches and cleans beads for months.

I did use it to clean my tractor in the sun. Tractor already had Sonus` "coating" on it - and the HydroFoam left spots. I was able to remove them with a QD. So, be careful of this stuff in the sun.

the only issue I`ve seen is with glass, but it wipes off..it might have left some light streaking on my truck but when I did a qd wipedown they were gone if they were there in the first place

but yea, I wouldn`t expect it to Not spot if used in direct sun

Well, THANK YOU. This answered a lot of my questions on the product. Like use in the FOAM GUN! So about 2oz then fill and foam. Hydro lite as been on my radar too as of late.

BTW..is your wiper blade ripped on the end in that pic?

yes but I havenet used my wipers in MONTHS...don`t need them above 30 mph

BUT I am fixing to have to get an inspect so I need to buy one friggin wiper blade
