Hummer, Lambo, 88 Porsche *56K* NO

EBPcivicsi

GOT PREP?
These two cars were detailed for the DUB booth at a car show over the weekend. I had limited time with the Hummer, but luckily the Lambo stays pristine.

Process for the Hummer was:

ONR

PO106FF via a wolfgang finishing pad @1200 RPM’s

Optimum poli-seal via PC @speed 6 with a SM Arnold finishing pad

Removed with OCW

Rim ICE on wheels

Tires dressed with Optimum tire gel

Does that look 19K worth of wheel and tire?

This 1988 Porsche was more of a project. The paint was very oxidized and swirled. There were also areas where the paint had been repaired and the painter shot base coat clear—it was really a hodge podge of different paints.

HT EC/OP via PC @speed 6 with a white LC LP pad

Menzerna FPII via PC @speed 6 with a white LC LP pad

Meguiars #26

OCW

Tires wear Meguiars ASD

How long did the Hummer take?

Process on the Lambo?

Thanks man, the hummer took about 4.5 hours to complete.

Sorry the Lambo was just ONR, Z8, Rim ICE on the wheels, and optimum tire gel on the tires.

Whitethunder46, I sure don't man, sorry.

Downright inspiring!

Love the DUB cars...It's nice to know that there will be a vehicle or two at a car show without paint defects :).

So true! They're likely to be the only ones without defects!
