Huge Problem!!!!!

If you start using zaino for him, and he's possibly using a scratchy/swirly mit etc. they will be amplified when he washes with that bright "Z" shine. Superbuick's right, sometimes people think "Z" is the magic cure for everything... Vettes do attract dust like mad(especially the rear end) because of the dual exhaust underneath. This is why alot of them prefer sealents because they don't detail as much and want their cars to stay looking good. You should also talk to him about AIO/SG if you don't have zaino. I saw your pics in the click and brag, and they looked GRT. I'm betting after a long drive, the dust accumulated like mad and then he went to wash etc... I clean mines every week so it's not a problem for me to still use wax on my vette, but I can see where alot of others don't have the time to do it often-hence why he's probably paying you to do it. Don't sweat it. Like Scott says, different product combos for different situations. I bet the other car you detailed for him holds up with that combo well, because it doesn't attract nearly as much dust as the vette...:xyxthumbs

i was going to do my dads freshly swirled new vette with dacp, sfp, vm, and cm

now im second guessing :\

Substitute NXT for the vm/cm and you have the combo I used on my dad's truck. I agree the customer probably did something and now wants a free fix

WOW I had no idea I would get this kind of response!!! Thanks guys! I used Poorboys Polish w/Carnauba and Poorboys EX on his G35. When he walked up to me and asked me what I had used on it he rolled his eyes and said "oh great, Poorboys huh." Oh well I hate using Zaino, but if that is what he wants I guess I will do it. Like someone else mentioned, I would like to use AIO/SG.

sounds like a real *******! if he's such an expert, why doens't he detail his own cars ????

Agreed. I'd fix the problems with the Vette but I'd think real hard about going back to do any more work for this guy.

I doubt he'll come back to you, judging by his attitude.

No biggie. Some customers just aren't worth the hassle. I've had to drop a few customers over the past 10 years.
