How'd you like to be 17 and own this truck? (and other recent details!)

Scott, I see that stuff all the time. Kids with a lot of their parents money. I didn't detail these things, but all of these kids just got out of High School. Must be hard being supported by your parents.

Here's a good one...All of them are under 21...

Boy, you guys haven't seen what I see in my area!

I grew up in Greenwich, CT which is one of the most affluent towns in the USA.

Kids used to get all high-end cars all the time! Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, a Ferrari as well.

Then, they go and wrap them around a tree or stone wall coming back from a night club year ago called "The Country House" in Banksville, NY which was a new wave and live band club over the line.

I used to detail several of these snot nose kids cars.

I lived on a 10 acre estate in Greenwich, but my parents made me go and buy my own car! Father was Commander in the Navy durring WWII, so I had no slack!

Nice work on some of these vehicles! Ahh to be young again!

Regards,

Deanski

what is up with the square cut outs in the bumper? i could of sworn they were supposed to be exhaust tips there.

That is what is supposed to be there, but he has a Flowmaster system with dumps at the rear axle (aka turndowns), so no pipe going over the rear axle and to the bumper.

I had something similar on my Chevelle.

I had a Dynomax muffler in place of my cat and dumped right after the muffler. Ahhhh, those were the days.....exhaust fumes, head aches, and constant noise so loud you could not hear the radio or the person next to you. hahaha

Thanks for the reply..I was just curious and now i understand!

I had a 2.5" exhaust with Sonic Turbo mufflers. Actually, at cruising speed, it wasn't bad at all, but with the Comp Cam I was running (292 Magnum, 244 duration at .050 lift and .501 lift in a .030 over 350 with 10:1 compression), it was hella deep at idle with a wicked lope. Those Sonics had the coolest roar when you got on it too. Not super loud, just a powerful sound. I wish the intraweb had been around then and I had a .wav file of the sound.

reminds me of my friend... 19 years old, lives at home, with an escalade ext on 22s with a system, a benz SL32 AMG, and a mint condition IROC Camaro.... not to mention the rolex on his wrist.

I don't mind kids with money as long as they earned it and did so honestly. And the only real problem I have with spoiled kids is that they never seem to understand the concept of working and are most of the time lazy.

Ha ha ha, I just thought this was funny to see on a list of spoiled kids vehicles... I could probably buy one of these for less than I spend on my cats in a year... and yeah, they're spoiled... ;)

Scott, you should point that kid to Corsa to replace those flowmasters... He can afford it...

Oh and you can tell him we all liked the picture. Tell him it's the first time we've ever seen a truck with the toolbox installed in the driver's seat!! Ha ha ha! :rofl

:rofl :rofl toolbox....driver's seat.... classic!

as far as the IROC, I just added that because its yet another 10K to add to the pile. I mean we're talking about a car with less than 20,000 miles on it the last time I saw it, and truly concours quality overall- 100% original.

but just the fact that this kid has upwards of 100K in cars at his disposal makes it ridiculous.

Oh yeah, no doubt it's ridiculous. I just thought the IROC Camaro was a funny addition to the Caddies and Benzes and such. :wavey

I grew up in Potomac/Bethesda Maryland (Potomac is THE richest town in the US) so I know exactly what you mean lol.

I hardly had to go out and strife, but I wasn't handed $50,000 cars either.

He is a parking valet at one of his Dad's topless clubs (Fantasy Ranch for all of you in the Dallas area).

:nixweiss At least his Dad does make him work, even if it is just parking cars.
