i am getting ready to rework and change products on a car. its a brilliant silver mercedes sedan, that the paint is in pretty good condition, and lives in the garage and drives only for pleasure.
i dont have a PC, and so all the products will be worked by hand.
i know there is a gazillion products that i could use, but the items i have ready to use are: clay > #9 > #7 and wax.
the thing i am unsure of is just "how" to work the polishes. ie: wet vs dry, product amount, hazing time, bonding time, wait time between, etc.
i plan to apply both in small sections by terry pad using straight motions after initial spread, and remove with MF.
ive read a million post, and am sure that many might suggest different products, but unless i am told that these products are an ABSOLUTE MISTAKE :nono or simply cant be worked by hand, plan on using the 9>7 combo.
i havent decided on the wax yet, maybe NXT, probably GC.
TIA for any suggestions. - ben
