how to tackle foxbody red single stage paint?

those motors hold up real well to boost. do u know how many pounds it was running? i might be helping a buddy supercharge his soon.. its getting painted later this week (supposed to be last week). good work btw. looks like a different car

i would guess it makes 330ish at the wheels, maybe a little less. other than the blower, headers, and ignition, the motor seemed pretty stock. those things are PIGS when stock....i think they make 220-230 at the wheels.

Well, I would 't call 'em "pigs". The fox body mustangs we drove at Bondurant were basically stock (power-wise) and the cars were, uhm...higher performing than most drivers ;) Seriously more so in many cases.

While zillion-hp-at-the-wheels are common/popular these days (esp. on the internet ;) ), 300+ at the wheels is a fast car in the right hands, at least when it comes to what you can do on public roads.

That Mustand looks like it might have a nice tire-to-power ratio and I'm guessing that it's had some suspension/brake work (heh heh, and if it *hasn't* then it oughta).
