just as the title says, how do you guys like to tackle these tough and uneven areas. a big flat hood is easy to hit by hand or with a PC, but the door jambs seem like a whole different animal. also under the hood and other small, hard to reach places, how do you do it? is everyone just using the same products, but my hand on a foam or terry cloth applicator pad? or if there a better way i am missing. the jambs on my truck look like crap, and i want to do it ALL right, so fill me in.

thanks

Yeah, clean 'em up and then do them by hand. Since not much happens in these areas, I never find they need a whole lot of polishing. But note that some cars aren't as well finished in these areas as on the "outside", so I'd choose products that aren't a huge pain to buff off of rough textures. I generally use 1Z polishes or AIO then top with my regular LSP.

I like to use meguiars #20 in those places(by hand). The cleaners seem to add enough polishing effect and the #20 seems to be quite durable there as well.

I made up some applicator pockets out of MF towels and the fit over 2/3 fingers .. I use AIO. Apply with one side of the pocket .. off with the other side .
