How to get stickers off inside window?

I have a sticker from a parking lot on the inside of my front windshield. It has been on there for about 5 years and it is really thin and I can seem to get it off. Any recommenadation on what I can use? I was thinking maybe an exacto knife and goo gone?

Thanks

Goo Goo or a 3m adhesive remover, hairdryer and a decal scraper which is basically a razor blade on a handle, if needed. I then clean with a good glass cleaner and high quality MF

Echo. You can use a regular razor blade in the event that you don't have a decal scraper (I would look for one, though). If you don't have Goo Gone or anything specific, cover the dash and spray the area with WD-40. Let it sit for a minute and wipe off. Finish as Bill suggests.

Definitely Goo Gone. WD40 will work too, but that is what Goo Gone is made for. Plus, it is easier to use and clean-up.

Rubbing alcohol always does the trick for me, but you need to peel most of the sticker off with something else (ie, razor, etc)

Also, warm it up with a heat gun or blow dryer. Be careful not to get it too close and melt anything...

Maybe is not very autopian..................but anytime I need to get a sticker off the windshield I've used Brake fluid................ make sure you cover everything around it tho. I've used 2 layers of newspaper and plastic underneath them, no need of a razor blade, the stickers pretty much dissolved.

I just used a cotton ball and paper towels followed by you favorite cleaning glass procedure.

Only 1 sticker has stand the power of break fluid.

That's just me.
