how to get rid of oxidation

:nixweiss sorry polaris but im new to this stuff. thanks for the suggestion. hows this? well my wifes 97 honda has a 3-4 inch wide strip that runs down the center of the car from very front to very back and only in the middle. has anyone seen this before. i really need help before it gets worse. please use details im new at all this "super" detailing. i used to be a wash and go now trying to do the "right thing" for my cars and trucks
 
Any information you volunteer to us would be helpful, as such a localized problem sounds unusual indeed. :confused: Has the area been scratched, scuffed, anything been placed over it, the car or part of repainted, is that part of the car always parked under something, etc, etc, etc? What does it look like? Is it white, dull, chalky, or is it milky and look like it's under the paint...? :nixweiss
 
well it looks kinda milky chalky. the car is not parked under anything nor does it have a cover. i will get a pic as soon as i can. it does look funny kinda like a silver skunk
