How to get rid of burn mark on rubber bumper?

I was working on my engine today and a papertowl with some cleaner ended up sticking to the bumper and leaving an ugly melted spot on the finish. I'm not sure what can even out the surface but I'm hoping for some suggestions on how I can buff this mark off if there even is a way to do it!

I'm sorry it happened. I've not been able to restore buffer burns, but if there is residue of the cleaner-paper towel on the bumper, perhaps there is a way of reversiing the chemcial process.
