How to detail leather interior?

Ok, I have researched a few products and think I will use either a Griot's Garage product or Lennox. My question is how to use them. Do I just rub them into the leather with a rag or sponge or something? Do I have to let it sit then take it off? I have never done leather before and want to be ready when I do his guys car at work. Thanks!

I think you may be referring to "Lexol" not "Lennox...." or perhaps you meant "Leatherique"??
