How to clean a mothers powerball?

I am teaching a kid across the street how to detail and today we used a powerball on some bad chrome rims. We used the powerball and Megs NXT all metal polish. Turned out pretty good although Im afraid we did scratch the rims somewhat. Anyways how do you clean this product?

Not sure if it's proper or not, but I've soaked it in a bucket of apc/water with my pads and rinsed it just the same. Once its soaked, just keep squeezing it under running water and it rinses fairly well.

Yeah I was going to try some Castrol degreaser but I did that with an applicator earlier this week and when I came back it literally ate the whole thing, it was gone, just mushy goo.

Hot water with a bit of Dawn added if you really need it

I've used mine on nasty aluminum wheels and cleaned it with Dawn and hot water in about 15 minutes.

What PRB said. I use mine on aluminum wheels, valve covers, etc. and wash with Gain laundry soap and warm water. Rinse and some gentle squeezing of the ball and hang it on a pegboard for final drying.

I dunno... Plain hot water always cleaned mine off real easily.

I have found hot water the real secret as well. APC or Dawn helps once you get the dried crud soft again.
