How to apply/remove S100 with a PC???

I got this today from Coastal and realized I'm not sure if I can apply S100 with it or even remove it for that matter. Is there a pad or bonnet or something I can buy to do it or should I just do it by hand?

And since I have a thread started. What pad would you suggest to use with Mequiars Swirl Free Polish and Vanilla Moose?

Thanks in advance.

just do it by hand it goes on so easy why bother with the buffer it seems like you would jsut be wasting product

A finishing pad???? I'm sorry to sound like a noobie but would the foam pads I have be considered a finishing pad?

I believe the finishing pad would be the one labeled "Finishing Pad" in the photo you took;)

i am a noob to at applying s100 with a pc, kind of like the blind leading the blind, but i think that the black pad is usually the finishing pad. I am not to familiar with meguiars pads though. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

looks like that brown one says finishing pad on it...applying it by hand would be just as easy tho......so I would try it that way first....the PC is generally for when you need to create friction to get slight blemishes out of the paint.....you don't need much friction to apply wax...just a little rub and the wax will spread evenly......

Hmmm, yeah. Well, now I feel like an idiot. Good call Thinksnow.

I will probably just apply it by hand like I have in the past. Seems to work good and I picked up some blue masking tape to mask off seems and such this time so I don't have wax left everywhere.

Would I want to use the finishing pad to apply the Vanilla Moose? I had planned on using the black one for Mequiars Swirl Free Polish.

Applying S100/P21S is very easy by hand. I wouldn't bother applying or removing it with the PC, just use the little grey pad that comes with the wax, very effective IMO.

Also, how come people can see a black pad in that photo? I see a white Porter Cable pad, Megs beige finishing pad, Megs yellow polishing pad and a Megs burgundy cutting pad... or am I going blind?

Anyway, I'd stick to the Megs yellow polishing pad for both the products you mention (VM and SFP. Also, make sure you wash the pad out between using each product. I'd get a few more polishing pads if I were you).

Save the Megs burgundy cutting pad for using something like DACP or 1Z UP when you want to get rid of serious swirls and scratches. If you use the Megs burgundy cutting pad (quite an abrasive pad) with the likes of VM or SFP you'll end up doing more damage than good.

Hope this helps.
