How strong is PB's spray and rinse cleaner?

I like blue! :oP
How strong is Steve's wheel cleaner? I only ask cuz my BBS rims on my jetta can get pretty dingy with the dust. I had a hard time yesterday getting some of the crap out of the corners. Really had to scrub with the greased lightning orange blast wheel cleaner to get it off. PB's wheel sealant got some heavier spots off. But is it strong enough to tackle some built up spots?

97,

Used full strength, it is pretty strong stuff. I've only used it on 4 or 5 different vehicles, but it hasn't had a problem dealing with the brake dust on any of them. I use it 50/50 for maintenance.

Boss, thanks again. I am getting frustrated when washing my car. Cleaning the rims takes easily and hour or more. The dust sits in the corners and is a pita to get off. But pb's wheel sealant and my finger got it off. But im sick of having to spend so much time. I will be adding this to my list of things to get next order.

97,

Are you using a good wheel brush to clean the wheels? (at least in the corners)

Boss i bought some wheel brush from pepboys. Its a good brush or atleast i think it is. But the dam corners always get caked up good. PB's wheel sealant get it off if i use my fingers to rub it in.

Oh and if possible does anyone have a pic of his bold & brite dressing on a tire?

I just apply it with a sponge applicator

& let it sit for about an hour before driving - haven't had any problems yet with slinging :D but I have heard of some people who prefer a slightly more "matte" look wiping it down after 15 or 20 minutes.

If you find that you're using your fingers to get brake dust out of corners, try a spoke brush, like this...

By Meguiars. The Ultra Safe Wheel Spoke Brush. Possibly available locally, but many online vendors carry it.

Hope that helps.

I've used Poorboy's Spray and Rinse Wheel Cleaner on some wheels I consider filthy. After following the directions I use an old terry cloth towel to wipe the wheel down and ALL the dirt has come off. The ease in which the wheels cleaned up was/is quite impressive.

I like that brush, wish I could find it around here and not just online. That would make getting the inside of the rim ALOT easier then reaching around.

97,

Check at PepBoys or AutoZone. I understand that they are carring a lot of the new Meguiar's Accessories.
