How sick am I?

I'm having minor problems with my new Equinox, so I bring it in for service and they give me a rental truck, 05 Silverado ...they ask me if I want the extra coverage:rolleyes::nono and I decline..so they do an inspection of the exterior, mind you it's pretty dirty, and there's a scratch on the rear tail light and quarter panel ....so I get it home and there had been a smoker in it previously, so first i wipe down all the plastics and dash with Natural Look, looks better and smells better now too, then I said what the ^#$$ ...so i Spray and Wipe the truck and then break out the Professional Polish ...now I have a clean truck and no scratches :lmfao I wonder what they will think when they re-inspect it and the scratches they wrote down no longer exist:crazy  :lol

Not At All!!!!

I've had a couple of rental cars in the last few months - I call them "test panels"!:) My family knows where to find me when I have a rental to play with in the garage.;)

I've not had any comments on return, but your transformation might be more dramatic, so please let us know what's said.

Actually Steve, you are quite sick. Common courtesy and forum rules has prevented me from telling you this before, BUT you asked. :owned

I would wish you Get Well Soon and a speedy recovery, but I fear your sickness is beyond all hope. Now, if you are ever in the area, bring along some PB products (or I'll loan you some of mine ;) ) and exhibit some of the signs of your illness in my garage while I prepare a more detailed (of course, the pun is intended :cool ) diagnosis (no charge, of course).

When I did somewhat the same thing to a loaner from the dealer, his comment was, "You didn't have to do that."
My response was, "If I was going to drive it, I did."
It's even worse than sick. I once wahed the same car 4 times in one day. Every sprinkler and puddle in the county was aimed at me that day.

Charles,

Good comeback to the dealer!:bigups

If it was your car that you washed 4 times, that's just fine, but if it was a rental, perhaps you should seek professional help!!:rolling

I feel so much better now. I detailed a friends car when we swapped so he could us my truck for hauling stuff. I wanted to see how Wolfgang looked on silver ....

You forgot to protect it with Ex or EX-P!! :hah

Hey wait a minute... you could have experimented with PwC and a rotary!
Oh the lost opportunity! :nono

It's still here:naughty

Free demo of the product line of before and after huh...well do you think you'll get an order from the dealership now :)

I always think of loaner and rental cars as test panels. I couldn't even begin to guess how many I've detailed for fun over the years.

Why you still got it see how it likes being slammed into reverse while doing 80 on the e-way!

That totally sound's like something I would do.

It's amazing how us detail fanatic's are so crazy sometime's.

Oh , and yes I still think your sick , but I guess alot of us fall into that catagory.....lol
