How should Zaino Feel

Ok...re-did the clay job again this morning and as of now have applied 2 coats of Z2 using Z6 after each.

The gloss is very good...my question is..how should it feel.

It's very smooth...but not slick or perhaps as slippery as I've been used to with other products...none of them as high level as Zaino.

I know I can add coats and might later his month..but should I be looking for a more slippery feel or is smooth with great gloss the desired outcome?

Thanks for any comments

Zaino isn't a slippery slick sealant like Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection. Whenever I used it, the paint was smooth like you describe.

Zaino will not seem as slick as a oil-based sealant like BF, UPP or even WG (very slick) but slightly slicker than SG. A post waxing (sealing) QD with Z6 will not only enhance appearance but also add to the slickness.

If you are have a DF Towel or a highest quality 100% cotton cheneille towel, wipe that material across the surface. This will illustrate how truly slick a oil-free sealant really is. Poly MF's have slightly more grab than a natural or cotton fiber towel. Of course this is only a relative test. The slickness grading will not change.

Give it a few days. The slickness will improve dramatically once the coat has cured fully. Z also retains its slickness for much longer compared to WG IMHO.

Thanks!!

What I have done, then, is correct.

All I have left to do now are the mats and I'm done. Well...at some point in the near future I have to put it up on the lift and pull the wheels so I can do the backsides and re-spray the wheel wells as the inner finish is starting to come off in spots...then there's the back of the muffler to re-black and.........

Ok...but I have to marvel at something of which I had no clue...MF towels and glass cleaner. The cheap Costco MF's.

Unbelievable. I pride myself on getting glass clean but this is the first time I've used MF's....unbelievable.
