How`s this for gloss & reflections?

I forgot to download this pic of my trunk lid when I detailed my car the other day. I noticed the gloss & reflection as I was walking to the back of the car to grab a fresh mf out of the trunk, it`s the first time I`ve noticed my paint from THAT angle. :D

Great gloss!

As for reflections, it`s fairly easy to get even dirty swirled paint make a nice reflection. The key in a good reflection (to me / IMHO) is no orange peel or perfectly flat paint (no distortion/blur).

You got a good reflection but I see some orange peel.

Sorry to criticize but you asked for opinions :)

You`re not criticizing, you`re being observant. No need to apologize there IS a lot of orange peel in the paint. I`ve decided that in order to try and keep my sanity AND own a black car, I would have to make for some allowances when it came to what defects I would try to remove and what I would/could live with. As long as I have high gloss and minimal swirling/RIDS, I can live with it ... finger & hand prints, pollen and birdy bombs are ANOTHER story.
