I am definaltly new when it comes to polishing by machine, I actually haven't used one yet because the fear of burning/holograming my black paint, but now that I have found this site I have been doing lots of reading and sometime soon I will be purchasing a PC.



One questions, How often do you polish by machine?

As ofter as you need to. There is no right answer. It all depends on your wash technique. The way I wash my personal cars, I'll never need to polish them.

instead of "as often as you need to" I like to say "ONLY when you need to" Never touch paint with a machine unless you need to do so. your Daily driver will probably need it once or twice a year pending on conditions. your toy may never need it pending how how anal you are about upkeep and apperance. Whenever you notice scratches and swirls that are not coming off with your wax and polish methods it's time to consider machine wheeling the paint
