How often do YOU wax your car?

I don't wax at all now having a coating on the car. Just use QD as a drying aid and boost some beading.

As a family man and business owner as well as trying to keep up with other hobbies, there doesn't leave much time to wax my own car any more.

Huh, well OK then! :)

BTW, did you ever try out that Eastwood rust-stuff on the Jeep? I've been nervously waiting to hear whether my recommendation was a waste of your money...

Nope not yet. Winter came early and I didn't get a chance to apply. Mid November we got our first snow so I was out in the garage spraying two cans of Fluid Film in a hurry. Seems to have done a great job on the places I was able to get it on to.

I'll have to get started earlier this year and get the Eastwood stuff on.

Fortunately i'm retired so time is not an issue and i enjoy waxing my car, it's therapy for me. I always apply wax by DA because it makes it so easy, to me anyway. I wax my car about every 4 wks. because i can.

blucpe- Heh heh, I'm *exactly* the opposite   Back before I retired I (washed and) waxed a *LOT* more often than I do now, perhaps in part because the commuting took its toll.  It's kinda funny, I seemed to have a lot more free time for stuff like detailing *before* I retired!

I'm lazy, but when I do a job, I do it right.  So for me it's Duragloss 601, 105 (x2), finished with aquawax, once per year whether it needs it or not ;-)

I just use a good sealant. Ultima paint guard has been great and seems to last all year. I follow it up with a mist of No Hose every week or two to clean off the dirt/dust/grime, and it adds just enough sealant back in to keep it perfect. I park in the garage every night so that helps to. I stopped using wax years ago, it was a never ending chore.

Zero. Made my life easier once I threw them all out. My car looks even better now and 100 times easier to maintain. I use DG ceramic coating. Before that, DG 105.

I work inside a steel mill now so I could honestly wax my car once a week if not daily.  With my current car I'll probably try and wax it once a month with Wet Glaze because it so easy on easy off and takes no time at all.  I'll usually do a really good polish and wax twice a year, once before winter and one after winter.  For that I usually use something like Collinite.

After every other wash, ill wipedown our work truck with meguiars synthetic xpress spray wax to boost the gloss. And we use Meguiars ultimate liquid wax every couple months
