How often do you QD?

You don't want to scratch the paint surface by QD'ing when the car is really dirty. If it's been over a week and there's road grime, puddle splashes, etc., I'd go ahead and wash it.



I usually Cal-Dust every day and QD every other day.



Sometimes after a light rain, that doesn't get the car that dirty... I'd QD. Heavy dirt requires washing.



(I use Z6 cut 50/50 with water, or WAUD cut 50/50 with water).....

I always use my California duster first, and then QD (unless I just washed it). But I only do this when the roads have been dry and pretty clean for the time that I was driving. If there's any dirt, I'll QEW it.

Whenever I use QEW, I usually add a half-dozen sprays of S&G to the bucket. It makes me feel like I'm accomplishing QEW and QD in one step. :)
 
When I'm consistent 2-3 times a week. In the rotation: CG Spray/Wax, CG Ext Syn Detail Spray, CG Pro Detailer (sample), Adam's Detail Spray.
 
I actually find myself QD'ing every day now. Since I park in a parking garage it's tough to wash when i want to, so I wipe it down every day when I get home.
 
I *only* QD after a wash, never cali dust or QD between washes. My paint will mar even with light dust with either method.



So I guess my answer would be that I QD after each wash, that's it.
 
Thank you! That is a great product list, but I would like to know what all of the acronyms I see on this forum mean--QED, QD, etc., etc....
 
On my UPP'd car I only use UGE. On my wifes car I either use S&G then QD+ if she's wearing EX & Nattys-Blue, however, I dressed her in WG this past weekend so I will probably use WG Spritz or NXT SD or maybe UGE - not sure yet.

S&G = Poorboy's Spray and Gloss

QD+ = Poorboy's Quick Detailer Plus

QEW = Quick and Easy Wash
